We were heading to Petra and wanted to stop at the Dead Sea on our way. I did a fair amount of research and had planned to visit the Marriott, who by the way wanted 75JOD for day pass with only included a 25 voucher only, but our Uber driver in Amman highly recommend the Grand East. We called before coming and they had day passes for 25 or 30 JOD and included a very nice buffet lunch. Towels were an extra 2 JOD. The hotel complex is located not far as you enter the area, we were greeted by guards that charged us the fees and then entered and were greeted right away by the valet. As you enter, you are again greeted by a host who takes your tickets and directs to you to the pool areas. They have 3 large looks, at various temperatures. The resort was very quiet abd hardly anyone was at the pools. We changed in the men's changing rooms and greeted by and attendant, man servant, that helped us store our shoes with bags. Really nice touch. We waited a few minutes to be taken to the beach. The beach wasn't too busy at all, only a few polish tourists and a few local tourists. We got in to enjoy the waters and then came back at to do the amazing mud that was provided. They had showers and soap and shampoo was provided but just rinse off the mud, it makes your skin so smooth. After we were done we walked by to the pools and relaxed a bit, got new towels and then showered again in the men's changing area. The same attendant was there to help us with our bags again. We then went to the buffet that started at 1pm. The food was very fresh, good selection of items and the service was spot on. Overall, I was very happy we chose the Grand East for our Dead Sea experience. Great value!!

After spending a week on a road trip across Jordan, Grand East Hotel was our final stop, and I couldn’t be happier that we ended our journey here. The hotel is a beautiful property located right next to the Dead Sea, with direct private access to the beach. It’s a large resort with excellent facilities, including three swimming pools. The staff truly made our stay special—everyone was warm and welcoming. A special mention to Shaima and Suhan, who kindly upgraded our room and allowed a late checkout, which we really appreciated. The highlight of the property is the private beach experience—applying Dead Sea mud, floating in the water, and then relaxing on the sunbeds is simply unforgettable. We also had breakfast at the hotel, which was excellent, offering a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. If you’re planning to stay near the Dead Sea, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, great amenities, and exceptional staff.

Sadly I have never stayed at this hotel but I expect the stay would be exemplary. I have been to this hotel twice. Once on both of my trips to Jordan. The Dead Sea is a stop on all of the tours I have taken and the Grand East Resort is where we go to enjoy it. A couple of glasses of wine, a soak in the Dead Sea, some time drying off in the sun. This place is Everything a person needs to relax. I would love to spend a couple of nights in this hotel. If I do come back to Jordan I will make it part of my itinerary to stay at the hotel for at least one night. It is a beautiful hotel, the staff are amazing, the service that I received from the bar was excellent. I highly recommend this as a stop to anyone that visits Jordan

Excellent hotel. Confortable rooms and beds. Great food. Nice spa with massage treatments and cosmetic treatments. Beautiful lush garden arranged in cascades over the hill slope to the water/Dead Sea. There is a swimming pool on every cascade/level. Small secured private beach with free mud for you to use. There is a shower also.

Great option for those considering a day visit to the Dead Sea. Grand East offers one of the cheapest day access options including use of the private beach, swimming pools, towels and buffet lunch (served from 1-4 pm). For those with mobility issues (or just plain lazy) the hotel also offers a shuttle that ferries guests back and forth to the beach. Excellent, fully serviced beach with showers and lifeguards. The day pass also allows guests to stay for evening entertainment from 7:30-10:30 pm if you wish to do so. All said, great value for money compared to some of the better known competition nearby.

We visited Grand East resort for the day (access to the Dead Sea beach and buffet lunch). It was recommended to us by a local and we were very happy with everything. Beautiful setting, excellent services (several pools, beach showers, mud bucket for soft skin, towels, etc), English speaking staff, tasty food. Reasonable prices for the services provided. Highly recommended!
